Job DetailsJob Location: SHAWNEE, OK 74804SCOPE: Under the direction of the supervisor, workers perform production, maintenance or janitorial duties as assigned to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, yield and Cost goals.  Each operator is responsible for an has the necessary authority to ensure quality, including stopping production to correct quality non-conformance.  SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: Uses appropriate safety measures Uses appropriate measurement equipment and techniques as trained Records and maintains documentation and data as required. Follows applicable work instructions. Uses good housekeeping skills to maintain the work area. Follows directions and instructions of all supervisory personnel. Maintains good relations with co-workers, management and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned. TOOLING & EQUIPMENT: Shear, pin inserter, I.D. lube, pointer, micrometers, draw pins, hammer, and hacksaw PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION: Prepare coils for block operator. SECONDARY JOB FUNCTION: Remove points on finished coils.  Watch up ender for malfunction. Tag finished coils with proper size. Convey finished coils to storage line.  Observe incoming coils for proper feed to block. JOB DESCRIPTION:  Shear point. Straighten tail end of coil to be pointed.  Dent coil for pin location.  Insert pin. Lube I.D. Point coil.  Position pointed end for drawing Convey coil to block.  Observe discharge end for malfunction.  For finished coils, remove point, tag first and last coil with proper tube size, convey finished coils to storage lines.  Check pins for copper build-up and wear. Replace it if needed.  Assist block operator as needed.  Inform block operator of any malfunctions.  Keep assigned machinery and work area neat, clean, and orderly.  Follow all safety and shop rules.  Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
