Job Summary:Â
The Project Lead is responsible for producing and assembling machine(s) and machine parts according to specifications.Â
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job:Â

Reads and follows blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.Â

Operates material handling equipment.Â

Assist coordinator and lead project teams by providing project related information.Â

Sets up and runs assemblies per specifications. Â
-
Measures parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers.Â
-
Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.Â
-
Fabricates sheet metal.Â
-
Travel to customer sites to install kits and machinery.Â
-
Oversee contracted employees during assembly and install at customer facilities.Â
-
Must train other employees. Â
-
Performs department clean up and improvement projects.Â
-
Manages material inventory. Â
-
Manages and completes dispatch report.Â
-
Performs and manages line audit teams and Bill of Material (BOM).Â

Occasional Job Responsibilities:Â

Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment.Â

Assists other departments.Â

Department clean up and improvement projects.Â

Facility maintenance and upgrades.Â
Â
Job Requirements:Â

Requires education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.Â
-
Journeyman Millwright certification, Associates in Electromechanical field, or equivalent years of experience preferred.Â

Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to make metric system conversions.Â

Must have previous assembly experience.Â

Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and other manufacturing instructions.Â

Ability to travel internationally and domestically required.Â

Ability to navigate CAD documents required.Â

Familiarity with ERP systems required.Â

Must have the knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, cut-off saw and grinder.Â

Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.Â

Must be able to collaborate with others (including in-person) to proactively develop solutions.Â

Knowledge of carpentry and pneumatics is a plus.Â

Must have the ability to train others.Â
-
Must have the ability to travel internationally and domestically.Â
