Mental Health Technician - Crisis Stabilization
Location: Sheboygan, WI
Schedule: Full and Part Time available
  • 7:00am-3:00pm two days one week and then Saturday/Sunday alternating week
  • 2:30pm-10:00 pm every other and weekend - $500.00*
  • 11:00pm-7:00am every other and weekend - $1000.00*
*Hiring Bonus Details
  • 50% is paid on your second paycheck after hire.
  • 50% is paid after successfully completing six months of employment, provided you remain in good standing, within the same position, with no disciplinary actions.
  • Employees who voluntarily leave employment before completing one year must repay a prorated portion of the second installment only. The initial payment is not subject to repayment.
Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Elevate is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide community-based residential support to individuals working to stabilize and manage mental health and/or substance use challenges. This position plays an important role in helping individuals successfully navigate recovery and crisis stabilization through supportive skill development, therapeutic groups, and direct client care.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide person-centered support and supervision to individuals receiving residential services.
  • Assist individuals with developing and practicing daily living, coping, and recovery skills.
  • Support crisis stabilization efforts through compassionate engagement and structured activities.
  • Facilitate and participate in therapeutic and skill-building groups.
  • Complete required documentation related to client services.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in adult care, mental health, substance use treatment, or human services preferred.
  • A caring, patient, and person-centered approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.
  • Additional Requirements:
    •  Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, including background screening, driver’s license verification, and drug/TB testing where required for the position.
