If you enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.   Summary: Performs complete work center change-over including mold change, verification of molding machine settings, set-up of all auxiliary equipment, secondary operations, and automation.   Essential Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Abide by all policies, procedures & work instructions including but not limited to the Employee Handbook. Execute policies, procedures & work instructions as documented within Polyfab’s software system as appropriate to the position (RD106-033, QMS Training Matrix).  Complete all appropriate paperwork in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. Strong emphasis on maintaining 5S.  Maintain clean and safe work area.  Record time spent on specific change-overs and enter into MRP system. Shutdown and purging of molding machines per production requirements. Start-up of new production jobs and submittal of parts to Quality Assurance. Troubleshoot production process problems as identified by Quality Assurance and document interim changes for Molding Technician review. Conduct material or tooling revision samples as directed by Process Engineering or the Molding Technician, and document results on Sample Summary documentation. Report any machine maintenance issues to the maintenance department in a timely manner. Participate in implementation of Lean Manufacturing principals as assigned by supervisor. Complete projects from a project task list as assigned by supervisor. Develop teamwork skills both inside and outside the department. All other duties as assigned. QualificationsQualifications: Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required and One to five years of related experience; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience. Injection molding experience preferred. Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications. Physical Ability Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for   8  hours per shift. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms Required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and to talk or hear  Occasionally required to sit, taste or smell.  The employee Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
