Job Description:

The Electrical Assembler installs, wires, assembles, and tests electrical components and control systems on company-produced equipment. The role requires the ability to read complex electrical schematics, perform precise wiring and terminations, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support machine testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
  • Assemble and wire control panels, switch boxes, terminal boards, and electrical systems.
  • Check wiring for proper coding, continuity, shorts, grounds, and terminations.
  • Participate in machine testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
  • Identify quality, material, and design issues and recommend improvements.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation.
  • Lead, coach, and train less-experienced team members.
  • Maintain workflow, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and support process improvements.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of electrical assembly or related industrial electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical concepts and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
