Overview
Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed; according to established practices and procedures Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated anatomical area. Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, digital image management for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician as required. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible.
Qualifications
Education:Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and possess a current ARRT registry or be registry eligible. Registry should be acquired within one year of employment. Registry in CT should occur within two years of employment.Experience:Less than one year of work experience. At least three months preferred. Experience in CT preferred but not required. CT registry preferred but not required.
