Our client, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for their 24/7 unionized facility in Shelbyville, IN. We are seeking a strong, results-driven leader who can bring their vision to manage, plan and develop the maintenance team. This is a key senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. Company relocation assistance is available for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly maintenance/technical professionals, with one direct and 30 indirect reports
Plan and execute all Maintenance Team activities
Participate in team analysis for problem solving of major breakdowns
Manage the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) systems to ensure equipment reliability with minimal downtime
Collaborate with production teams to enhance operational efficiency
Document maintenance and repair activities for future reference and compliance
Manage CapEx projects
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
Be a strong proponent of safety culture, training and adherence
Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in maintenance engineering

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical field
5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Leadership experience in a union setting is preferred but not required
Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset
Reliability Centered Maintenance experience including management of CMMS, PdM, PM and TPM systems.
CapEx project experience

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range $125,000 - $145,000 plus up to 20% bonus potential
