A well-established senior living community in Shelbyville, Kentucky is seeking an energetic and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join its in-house therapy team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys helping seniors regain strength, improve mobility, and maximize their independence while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs
  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services focused on strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Promote the highest level of resident-centered care
Qualifications

  • Active Kentucky Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Passion for working with the senior population
  • Positive, collaborative, and patient-focused approach
  • Long-term care or senior living experience preferred, but not required
