Role Overview:  
The Processing Operator supports daily liquid processing operations, including barrel handling, blending, batching, filtration, transfers, and inventory control. This role is responsible for maintaining, checking, and transferring warehouse barrels, liquid, and spirits efficiently, accurately, safely, and in a timely manner while meeting quality standards and complying with GMP and safety procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and possesses strong basic math skills.

 
Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Understand and execute Plan of the Day (POD). 

  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments as necessary. 

  • Barrel handling, blending, batching, filtering, transferring, calculating inventory tank readings, and preparation of all products to meet the production schedule using approved formulas and company specifications.  

  • Blending corrections and final approvals prior to bottling 

  • Liquid receiving/shipping and inventory control.  

  • Documenting all blends and applicable quality testing.  

  • Safety, quality control and cleanliness of work area.  

  • Focuses on Continuous Process Improvements and GMP implementation with regards to Regulatory Compliance, Reporting and Inventory Control.  

  • Evaluate, analyze, suggest, and participate in process improvements that deliver cost savings.  

 

Required Skills and Abilities  

  • Operate industrial equipment as required. 

  • Operate laboratory equipment.  

  • Communicate with all levels of an organizations 

  • Manage and track multiple tasks at one time.  

  • Pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance 

  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and science and their applications. 

  • Good vision and manual dexterity.  

 

Education and Experience 

  • Minimum of one to two years of relevant work and leadership experience. 

  • At least a year of continuous experience in every previous job.  

  • High School diploma. 2 years of college or technical training preferred.  

  • At least 21 years of age. 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.   

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities, climb stairs, and work at heights. Must be able to work in areas that are not climate controlled
