JOB SUMMARY
Transportation Clerk; Appointment Clerk; Booking Clerk; Freight Clerk; OS&D Clerk; Cycle Counter
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner.
- Be actively engaged, involved, and participate in safety meetings and safety tours.
- Ensure production and distribution of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation and quality standards.
- Enter data and generate reports via computer; Enter conveyor schedule.
- Verify inventory transactions and adjustments (Familiarity with RF Equipment).
- Schedule truck line pick-up and delivery appointments.
- Coordinate incoming trucks to correct dock or yard.
- Receive inbound product against purchase orders.
- Generate bill of lading for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain dock board with locations of all trailers at facility.
- Make date labels; File Transportation documents.
- Demonstrate proficiency with QAD.
- Perform cycle counts on all finished good materials, WIP, KDs and pallets in the Warehouse.
- Perform Month-end packaging inventory.
- Analyze transaction reports to determine the root cause of discrepancies.
- Assist drivers with issues regarding issue and receipt entry, transfer, and cycle counting.
- Audit all locations for negative quantities.
- Responsible for item types, class codes, and correct descriptions for items in QAD
- Conduct product recalls using QAD transactions
- Maintain accuracy on promotional items.
- Develop proficiency of basic other clerk role duties, providing support in those roles when necessary.
- Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Fulfill overtime requirements as necessary to ensure Transportation requirements are met.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong computer skills with experience with various programs, such as email, and MS Office applications.
- Organizational skills and detail orientation.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Successful completion of the interview.
