PURPOSE:  To maintain the physical inventory items in the warehouse, off load trucks and put up inventory in warehouse, and process related record keeping for purchase orders, receipts, and releasing stocks to the plant.

 

JOB SUMMARY:   Receive our warehouse deliveries and maintain a correct warehouse inventory.   Keep rag gaylords stacked and organized.  To be in charge of “buying out” products from the warehouse and when possible assist in the opening up and injecting the product into our system. Record receipts from vendors and stock releases to the plant. Perform weekly physical inventory and auditing differences in recording system. Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

  • Must be able to operate a fork lift truck
  • Be able to perform the above essential duties efficiently
  • Have excellent attendance
  • Follow all company safety rules 
  • Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
  • Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
  • Follow all company policies and procedures 
  • Possess and maintain a positive attitude
  • Must have working knowledge and experience of computer based inventory recording systems
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with supervision and all employees
  • Minimum 1 year relative experience
