About the Role

Maintainer is looking for a Paint Prep Production Worker to help prepare equipment and components for painting. This role includes sanding, grinding, and cleaning surfaces to ensure high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities

Sand, grind, chip, and wash surfaces to prepare for painting
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Prepare parts and units based on the production schedule
Follow blueprints and basic instructions
Ensure work meets quality standards before moving forward
Keep work area clean and follow all safety guidelines
Move between workstations as needed
Support team members and help maintain a productive work environment
Participate in process improvements and suggest better ways of working

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent preferred (or relevant experience)
Experience using power tools is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in different positions
Comfortable working around equipment, noise, and dust
