About the Role

Do you enjoy working with manufacturing equipment, maintaining high quality standards, and being part of a team that produces quality products?

We're looking for a Metal Finishing Production Operator to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll safely operate and monitor metal finishing processes such as electroplating, polishing, and induction hardening while meeting production, quality, and safety expectations. You'll inspect parts, follow blueprints and job specifications, perform quality checks, and help ensure products are manufactured efficiently and accurately. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a desire to contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor metal finishing equipment such as electroplating, polishing, and induction hardening systems while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Perform inspections and verify product quality by conducting first-part and in-process inspections and identifying nonconforming materials
  • Read and follow blueprints, job orders, and work instructions to ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production records and a safe work environment by entering required data, reporting equipment concerns, and following all safety procedures.

Competencies:

  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred, with the ability to safely operate equipment and follow standardized processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus, including the ability to inspect parts and identify defects or nonconforming materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job sheets, and dimensional specifications.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, along with dependability, good attendance, and a commitment to safety.
