Inlet Coastal Resort is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our overnight care team.

The Floor Nurse oversees resident care throughout the shift and helps ensure that medications, treatments, documentation, and changes in condition are addressed accurately and promptly. This position requires strong clinical judgment, organization, and the ability to provide calm leadership in a senior-living environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted LPN license in South Carolina
  • At least 3–5 years of nursing experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong medication administration and documentation skills
  • Dependable transportation and a record of reliable, punctual attendance
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
  • Assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior-care experience is preferred
  • Experience working with individuals living with dementia is strongly preferred
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position


Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Monitor residents and promptly respond to changes in condition
  • Complete nursing assessments and required clinical documentation
  • Communicate resident updates to providers, families, leadership, and members of the care team
  • Ensure care plans and physician orders are followed
  • Provide direction and support to CNAs and caregivers throughout the shift
  • Respond appropriately to resident incidents, emergencies, and clinical concerns
  • Review medication and treatment records for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, infection-control practices, and community policies
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment


Position and Schedule

  • Shift: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
  • Full-time or part-time opportunities available
  • Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on the schedule
