Position Specific Information (if Applicable):

STEM School Highlands Ranch is seeking a temporary employee to provide dedicated individual student support. This position is week-to-week and may be up to 40 hours per week, depending on ongoing need.

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide attentive, compassionate individual support to ensure student safety and engagement throughout the school day.

● Support the student’s participation in classroom activities, transitions, and common areas.

● Collaborate with teachers, student support teams, and administrators.

● Follow school policies, confidentiality standards, and directions from staff.

● Perform other tasks as assigned to support school operations.

Qualifications:

● High School Diploma or equivalent

● Ability to pass a criminal background check

● Strong commitment to student learning and development

● Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

● Responsive and proactive communication with students and faculty

● Experience working in a diverse, fast-paced, and collaborative environment preferred

Physical Requirements:

● Occasional lifting of 5 to 50 pounds

● Ability to stand/walk for up to 90 minutes

● Ability to run short distances if necessary

● Frequent bending, stooping, standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and sitting

Compensation: The pay for this role is $17.80 to $25.00 USD per hour.

All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
