CNC Machinist

• 3rd Shift; On-Site

The Machinist is responsible for completely and independently setting up and operating various types of machines such as CNC mills and turning centers in order to produce parts to blueprint dimensions and tolerances.

Key Skills:

• Operate and set up CNC mills, turning centers, and related machines.
• Read and Interpret Blueprints.
• Program CNC equipment and adjust tooling fixtures.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and accurate work records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• General math skills.
• Preferred: 1 year CNC setup/operation, conventional machining, and CNC programing.
• Strong communication and reliability.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to routinely lift 25 pounds, stand, sit, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility.
• Perform coolant checks, preventive maintenance, deburring, and tool presetting.
• Basic understanding of cutting tools, GD&T, fixtures, CMM results, and root-cause analysis.
