About the Role:

Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, CT is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Coordinator to join our hospitality team! In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our sales efforts and helping deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and clients. Responsibilities:

Support the sales team with administrative tasks, client communications, and proposal preparation
Coordinate group bookings, corporate accounts, and event inquiries from initial contact through confirmation
Maintain and update sales databases, CRM systems, and booking reports
Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Assist in preparing sales presentations, contracts, and promotional materials
Collaborate with front desk, catering, and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
Track sales metrics and assist in generating weekly and monthly performance reports

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or a related administrative role
Ability to work a Tuesday through Saturday woork schedule
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel PMS or CRM software a plus
Customer-focused mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred
