Countryside Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative, patient-focused team. We are a well-established small animal practice serving the Shelton community with compassionate, high-quality medicine. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive, skilled veterinary team.

What You’ll Do

• Support veterinarians during exams and treatments
• Run appointments and obtain patient histories
• Administer vaccines and prescribed medications
• Perform venipuncture and IV/SQ injections
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with treatment flow
• Assist with surgical prep and patient recovery as needed
• Provide client education and discharge instructions
• Help maintain efficient workflow throughout the hospital

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred
• Comfortable with venipuncture and medication administration
• Experience running rooms independently
• Anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, and patient care is a Plus!
• Only LVT/CVTs perform anesthesia and surgical duties
• Knowledge of surgical prep and patient care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
