Job Responsibilities:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A four-year degree with a minimum of 5 years experience with progressive supervisory responsibility in a related field is required. Must be experienced with computerized accounting systems and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsibility:

路 Prepare plant monthly and annual financial results in an accurate and timely manner

路 Prepare analysis of financial and operating information as required

路 Prepare the annual business plan and quarterly forecasts.

路 Optimize cash flow

路 Conduct internal auditing procedures

路 Participate in APQP and PDP events and complete assigned tasks as required.

路 Ensures that the principles of the Magna Employee Charter, the Corporate Constitution and Operational Principles are practiced, supported, and reinforced. Responsible and accountable for the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) results.

路 Thoroughly train new associates, correct or commend associate鈥檚 health and safety performance, and conduct adequate performance appraisals by evaluating an associate鈥檚 safety performance.

路 Ensure a safety business plan is created and adequate funds are earmarked for safety related needs.

路 Conduct quarterly reviews of workers compensations costs.

路 Provide necessary information to safety rep to aid in lost time accidents and yearly reporting requirements.

路 Administers and ensures compliance with the Quality and Material Management System requirements as outlined in the policy manuals.

路 Other duties as assigned.


Authority:

路 Manage accounting department for the Louisville Seating facility.

路 Ensure that all accounting transactions are recorded in an effective and timely manner in accordance with GAAP

路 Ensure Management Controls are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404

路 Manage staff functions

路 Decision making power on PDP and APQP issues as assigned

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written skills required. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to management, employees, and corporate personnel.

BEHAVIOR STANDARDS: Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional overnight travel is required. Must be able to interface with all departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
