Job Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
  • Knowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) communication systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead teams and support operational objectives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Supervise daily production operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Lead and develop employees through open communication, fair and consistent policy administration, performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving first-run quality, productivity,  labor efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental standards by conducting training, inspections, investigations, audits, and corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with Magna Employee Charter principles, Quality and Material Management Systems, ISO 14001 requirements, and company objectives while supporting high productivity and positive EOS results.
