Job Summary: Sheridan Community Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare to our close-knit rural community. Our team values personalized care, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking a caring, dependable CT/X Ray Technologist to join our patient-centered team.  This is a crucial component of the practice. The available position requires a technologist willing to perform general radiography, surgical C-Arm, CT, and other duties as necessary. Basic computer skills, EMR familiarity, effective communication skills, the ability to work independently and to conduct oneself in a professional setting are required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicates to the patient the process that the patient will undergo. Provide quality control measures in the use of the CT/X-Ray equipment. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Complete all computer data entry requirements to assure timely completion and availability of study for physician. Performs other related duties as assigned. Participate in quality improvement projects. Attend training and meetings as required Maintains awareness of current quality and safety measures on the unit and follows guidelines or reporting measures to ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff. Knowledge and skills in quality improvement and research methodologies. QualificationsEducation, Experience and Other Requirements: ARRT Registered or Registry eligible CT Experience ( Preferred, but not required) Basic Life Support Able to pass health/drug screening as required by federal guidelines for all healthcare workers (required)
