We are currently seeking a fulltime Medical Records Director to join our team at Sheridan Correctional Center located in Sheridan, Illinois. The Medical Records Director at Vienna Correctional Center is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program. This professional is responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete, accurate healthcare record while supervising the medical records staff and maintaining the confidentiality of the healthcare records. Qualifications•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required  •    Three (3) years of supervisory experience in medical records setting preferred  •    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)  •    Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred  •    Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred  •    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Benefits We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Much more...
