Goodwill North Texas is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Ecommerce Specialist to join our growing ecommerce team. In this role, you will help maximize the value of donated merchandise by evaluating, researching, photographing, listing, selling, and shipping items through ShopGoodwill.com. This position plays a vital role in supporting Goodwill’s mission while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Ecommerce Specialist receives and organizes donated merchandise from retail locations, identifies jewelry, collectibles, and specialty items, and researches market values using online resources. You will create compelling online listings by writing accurate descriptions, taking professional photographs, and setting competitive prices. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring online listings, pulling sold merchandise, packaging orders safely and professionally, and ensuring shipments are processed on time through FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other approved carriers. You will also respond to customer inquiries, resolve order issues, and support a positive customer experience through timely and professional communication.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills, basic internet research abilities, and a commitment to accuracy are essential. Previous ecommerce, retail, shipping, inventory, jewelry evaluation, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
