Description

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner." This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process.  Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position requires that the Team Member always operates automated equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires that the Team Member to perform set-up, troubleshoot, and teardown of assigned equipment.

This position requires the Team Member to program equipment to accommodate various methods.

This position requires the Team Member to be responsible for the KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator) associated with the equipment: throughput, efficient operation of the equipment while maintaining reduced equipment downtime, yield, quality, etc.

This position requires that the Team Member in order to operate this machine, lock out tag out is required and the ability to read and understand the computer screen and select the correct options to safety run the machine. This process will be continual throughout the entire work shift at full production rates.    

This position requires the Team Member to be willing to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 lbs. 

This position requires that the Team Member performs all other tasks as deemed necessary to support the production goals.

Requirements

To be considered for position, Team Member must possess the following:

Must have successfully completed probationary period

Must have excellent attendance record (6 points or less) and maintain 9 points or less

Excellent Safety record, must not have a disciplinary action resulting in Suspension in the last 12 months.

Must be willing to work overtime and weekends/ holidays if required.

Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
