Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Improve existing Test Infrastructure capability and capacity in the factoryÂ
-
Develop and deploy new Test Infrastructure in the factoryÂ
-
Develop and deploy custom Test Infrastructure for R&DÂ
-
Continuously (24/7) maintain new and existing Test Infrastructure in the factoryÂ
-
Setup & improve material flow process through the Test Infrastructure in the factoryÂ
-
Support the Test Infrastructure requirements for multiple product teams simultaneouslyÂ
-
Develop, execute, and analyze DOEsÂ
-
Develop and maintain Test Infrastructure via SPC and other techniquesÂ
-
Develop, improve, and maintain Test & Process SOP and OCAP documentationÂ
-
Provide Test Equipment & Process related training to operators/technicians/engineersÂ
-
Frequently analyze and report on Tool health, Process health, and Project statusÂ
-
Develop calibration and validation routines for Test EquipmentÂ
-
Meet and improve upon Test related KPI goalsÂ
-
Ownership and accountability of Test Infrastructure and Performance in the factoryÂ
-
Frequently present verbal and written updates and reports to upper managementÂ
-
Work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure project and product successesÂ
-
Interfacing and reporting to internal and external customers on project statusÂ
Education & Experience
-
Minimum 9 yr. semiconductor, analog, or similar Test and Measurement experienceÂ
-
MS or equivalent degree, PhD preferredÂ
-
High volume manufacturing experience strongly preferredÂ
Skills

In-depth knowledge of optics, mechanics, and electronics theoryÂ
-
Excellent laboratory skills using high speed test equipment such as network analyzers, pattern generators, oscilloscopes, error detectors, micrometers, microscopes, etc.Â

Cursory knowledge of programming or scripting languagesÂ
-
Quick learner with abstract and foreign conceptsÂ
-
Great self-management & prioritization skillsÂ
-
Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ

Strong reporting, logging, and documentation skillsÂ

Strong direct ownership of projects and ability to successfully complete them within cross-functional teamsÂ

High proficiency with MS Office suite and similar softwareÂ

Experience with popular mathematical, engineering, and statistical software packagesÂ

Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environmentÂ

Working Conditions

This position will support 24/7 factory operations inside a cleanroomÂ

Some days may be spent nearly entirely on the cleanroom floor in cleanroom attireÂ

Some days may be spent nearly entirely sitting at cubicle deskÂ
-
Must be a self-starter, able to work in high physical and mental stress environmentÂ
-
Must be able to work from incomplete/non-existent documentation and instructionsÂ
-
Holiday/nights/weekends work may be necessary depending on project/production deadlinesÂ
Physical Requirements

Includes working on mechanical systems within a production cleanroom and/or labÂ

Includes working with laptops & desktops within a production cleanroom and/or cubicleÂ

Requires bending at the waist and/or kneesÂ

Requires leaning/reaching into mechanical systemsÂ

Requires bundling/unbundling cabling on the floorÂ

Requires lifting up to 50lbÂ

Requires using microscopes and other metrology toolsÂ

Requires working in full cleanroom attire including laser safety gogglesÂ
