Your Role as a Home Health Occupational Therapist
As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes to help them regain independence, improve daily function, and safely perform activities of daily living.
Responsibilities include:
• Conduct patient evaluations and home environment assessmentsÂ
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician ordersÂ
• Provide therapy focused on improving functional mobility and daily living skillsÂ
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and safety techniquesÂ
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teamsÂ
• Supervise and delegate care to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when appropriateÂ
• Document visits efficiently using AI-assisted tools

Qualifications
• Active, unencumbered Florida Occupational Therapist licenseÂ
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insuranceÂ
• CPR certification Â
• Ability to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) 
• Home health experience preferred but not required
