Our passionate employees (we call ourselves “partners”) are feeding the world! We’re looking for exceptional people to join our production team here at our Shippensburg, Pennsylvania facility.

Responsibilities:

·       Dairy Processing Operators support the Shippensburg plant in the daily production of Cream Cheese and Yogurt to meet customer orders. You'll be responsible for turning raw materials into high-quality dairy products that are packaged on the packaging floor. (This could include receiving milk, running an HTST and other processing equipment, and/or batching flavored product.)

·       Partner safety and food safety are our top priorities, that’s why you’ll be expected to follow good manufacturing practices and housekeeping guidelines. (This included wearing designated personal protective equipment (such as gloves, hard hats, hair nets, hearing protection, etc.) and adhering to all OSHA safety requirements.)

Requirements:

·       Candidates must have a high-school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to read, understand and follow written procedures.

·       At least two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

·       This job may require you to lift between 30-50 pounds at waist level, operate an electronic pallet jack and a stand-up forklift, and work in hot or cold conditions.

·       This position requires receiving a passing score on the Wonderlic cognitive exam (required pre-interview) as well as receiving a passing score on a basic mechanical assessment (administered at the time of the interview).

·       This position requires passing a post-offer background check and drug screen.

·       Proficiency in reading and comprehension of the English language is required.

Compensation and benefits:

·       With two separate retirement plans (and company contributions up to 15% per year in stock shares), this is a job you can actually retire from.

·       Competitive wage and incentives. You’ll be eligible for FIVE pay increases in your first 24 months. We also offer a performance-based incentive program that gives you the opportunity to earn additional pay twice a year for meeting plant and company goals.

·       Great benefits. We offer paid vacations and holidays, along with competitive health care plans that include medical, dental, vision and life insurance starting on your first day.

·       Retirement plans. We offer a 401(k) retirement plan with up to an 8% company match – that’s higher than 90% of all U.S. companies. You’ll also have ownership of the company through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – a benefit not many companies offer.

·       Wellness programs. From weight loss and tobacco cessation programs to cancer screenings and gym membership discounts, we offer many wellness resources to help our people and their families live longer, healthier lives.

You’ll work in a clean environment where the safety of our food and people is our top priority.
