SOCIAL WORKER

Roxbury Treatment Center is currently looking for a social worker to assist patients on our acute psychiatric units for adults and/or adolescents.

The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center and the NASW. The hours are Monday - Friday day shift with evenings and/or weekends if necessary.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health and drug and alcohol history; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan.
• Developing realistic and measurable short- and long-term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Social Work or other related field preferred, with a practicum in health or human service agency preferred. or
• Bachelor's Degree with a major in Social Work required.
