Job Description

What You Will Do Here
Candidates will perform activities related to production of laminate flooring including the safe, efficient operation of all bonding line equipment; presses, saws and all associated machinery, tracking raw materials by way of computer, producing orders according to plan, inspect and monitor materials for quality, and preserve the maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.

Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Basic Computer Skills – Ability to understand computer programs to input, monitor, research, log issues, and track orders according to customer requirements
• The ability to set up, operate, troubleshoot and adjust press and other equipment throughout the plant
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to do visual and manual material inspections to ensure it meets quality expectations
• The ability successfully meet the physical demands of the position
• Excellent attendance record
• This position is required to work a rotating shift schedule, this may include weekends and Holidays.

What Will Put You Ahead: (Not Required)
• Flexibility in having availability to work on-call and periodic overtime
• Previous mechanical experience is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ACTIVITIES AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT
• Sitting, standing on concrete, walking, climbing, lifting, push/pulling, reaching, bending, seeing, hearing, dexterity of hands and fingers, and written and verbal communication.
• face shield/goggles, dust mask/ respirator, hard hat, ear plugs, and high visibility vest required
