The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet company and customer standards through inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports production and engineering teams by identifying quality issues and maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards.

 Essential Functions of the Job:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
- Accurately complete and maintain inspection and test documentation, including quality reports, checklists, and nonconformance records.
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify dimensional and functional accuracy of parts.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for nonconforming materials or processes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures, and inspection standards.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct audits of Vendor items to ensure vendor quality
- Able to help trouble shoot if issues are found.
- Individual is expected to be hands on with repairs of any defects.
- Will also be training in other stations to perform those job functions.
- When not inspecting units, this individual will be helping out in other work stations.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality or inspection role.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Some electrical experience
- Some manufacturing experience
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Standing frequently, walking, crouching, kneeling, fine manipulation with hands.
- Frequent use of hands and inspection tools in a manufacturing environment.
