Green Garden Landscaping is a Seattle-based landscape company providing full-service maintenance and installation for high end residential clients. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, dependable service, and building long-term relationships with our clients and our crews.

The Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of both landscape maintenance and installation work, overseeing field crews to ensure projects and recurring services are completed safely, on schedule, on budget, and to Green Garden Landscaping's quality standards. This role bridges office planning and field execution — translating client scopes and project plans into clear daily direction for crews, and providing timely, accurate feedback to management on progress, issues, and resource needs.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily operations for both maintenance routes and installation/construction projects, coordinating crew assignments, equipment, and materials.
  • Oversee field crews, including crew leads, providing clear daily direction, on-site quality control, and hands-on problem-solving.
  • Review project scopes, plans, and takeoffs to ensure crews understand the work order, materials list, and site-specific requirements before mobilizing.
  • Monitor job progress against budgeted hours and timelines; flag scope changes, delays, or cost overruns to management promptly.
  • Conduct regular site visits and quality inspections across both maintenance and installation work; address deficiencies before client walkthroughs.
  • Serve as the primary field point of contact for clients during active installation projects, communicating progress and resolving on-site concerns.
  • Manage equipment and vehicle fleet readiness — coordinating maintenance, repairs, and proper use across crews.
  • Track and approve crew time, materials usage, and job costing data for accurate reporting back to operations and accounting.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate crew leads and field staff; support a culture of accountability, safety, and craftsmanship.
  • Coordinate with the design, sales, and account management teams to ensure smooth handoff of new projects and consistent service delivery on existing accounts.
  • Flexibility during peak season (spring–fall) for extended hours.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in landscape maintenance and/or landscape construction, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or crew-lead role.
  • Working knowledge of both softscape and hardscape practices: plant health, plant material, irrigation systems, turf care, grading, and installation of paver patios, retaining walls, and planting beds.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews and job sites simultaneously in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable managing schedules, budgets, and client-facing conversations.
  • Valid WA driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate or oversee operation of trucks, trailers, and standard landscape equipment.
  • Pesticide/herbicide applicator license (WSDA) preferred, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Proficiency with basic scheduling/job-costing software (e.g., LMN, Aspire, or similar) preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance for field travel
  • Tools/equipment provided
  • Opportunities for continuing education and industry certifications
