Job Purpose and Impact

The Process Lead - Commercial job designs, implements and manages optimal process solutions for processes to enable best in class operations and meet growth and efficiency goals. With minimal supervision, this job performs process management activities, including designing, documenting and optimizing process, monitoring process performance, recommending continuous improvement measures while adopting business process management practices and standards. This job partners with cross functional teams to identify and recommend risk mitigation options associated with process changes and implement feedback mechanisms to gather user insights.  The Process Optimization Lead will drive the adoption of streamlined and aligned end-to-end processes and solutions across the commercial ecosystem. 

 

This position is to be located in Wayzata, MN or Wichita, KS with regular in-office commitments. This position is not open to remote work at this time, and relocation assistance will not be provided. 

Key Accountabilities

  • PROCESS STRATEGY: Partners to align and implement the process strategy for a specific set of processes, including setting priorities and defining roadmaps, resources, responsibilities and tools.
  • PROCESS DESIGN: Designs a specific set of processes in line with business requirements and process maturity, ensuring standardization, harmonization and simplification.
  • TECHNOLOGY ENABLEMENT: Ensures support of enterprise resource planning and other systems deployment projects to facilitate business readiness and technology enablement decisions. Monitors post-deployment process performance and takes process stabilization measures.
  • PROCESS DOCUMENTATION & TRAINING: Creates, reviews and documents global policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions and job aids for a specific set of processes, ensuring compliance with the business process management standards. Identifies and analyzes knowledge gaps and training needs, recommends training approaches and materials, and delivers standard process training and certification.
  • PROCESS GOVERNANCE: Analyzes process variation needs and influences to maintain harmonization, standardization and simplification where differentiation does not add value. Maintains process documentation up-to-date and compliant with business process management standards and takes actions to adopt taxonomy changes in the appropriate timeframe.
  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT & CHANGE IMPACT: Engages with relevant partners to align the implementation of process strategy and key process initiatives, assess change impact, and ensure successful implementation of process solutions.
  • PROCESS PERFORMANCE: Partners to define key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness and monitor the impact of process improvements and process changes, identifies and recommends risk mitigation options, benchmarks metrics both internally and externally to maintain competitive performance.
  • PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Analyzes process data to support process mining efforts and enable continuous improvement and automation initiatives, partners to find opportunities for process and workflow standardization and improvement with a focus on eliminating process deficiencies and improving customer and employee experience, and recommends actionable plans to implement efficient and effective process improvement through process excellence practices

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, or work experience equivalent
  • Experience with end-to-end commercial processes. 
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying, prioritizing, and delivering initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, customer experience, risk management, or cost performance.
  • Strong partnership and communication skills with the ability to influence leaders and drive alignment across business, technology, and functional teams without direct authority.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives from opportunity identification through execution, adoption, and value realization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management), CPQ (Configure Price Quote) and/or Customer Portal solutions.
  • Lean Six Sigma training and Black Belt attainment
  • SAP experience in the Commercial space (contracts, pricing)

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is approximately $97,000 to $132,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal. 


Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
