The Data Analyst serves as a key resource for transforming complex business and operational data into meaningful insights and actionable solutions for MCIM customers and internal teams. This role combines strong analytical skills with technical expertise in data modeling, integration, and visualization to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and solve complex business challenges. You will work closely with customers, Product, and Operations to understand data requirements, translate those needs into scalable analytics solutions, and build intuitive dashboards and reporting experiences primarily within Salesforce CRM Analytics. Success in this role requires someone who enjoys diving into raw data, connecting information across multiple systems, and turning complex datasets into clear, compelling insights that help customers make better decisions.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and produce statistical and other analytics reports
Study and achieve domain expertise in data center design, maintenance & operations, understand their business, data, and systems, and be able to apply that knowledge, focus your data and analytical skills on things that matter to MCIM customers
Elicit and produce data requirements based on research, client interaction, and careful consideration of the MCIM product and its existing ontology
Translate business requirements into actionable visualizations. Communicate with all levels of stakeholders as appropriate, including client executives, data modelers, application developers, business users, the product team, and customers
Work with the Operations & Product Development team to document data requirements across multiple clients and synthesize those requirements into product-grade requirements that adhere to and complement the existing ontology of the MCIM product
Build interactive and user-friendly dashboards using Salesforce Analytics Studio (Tableau CRM). Utilize SAQL, bindings, and dashboard JSON to support dynamic user experiences.
Create and maintain dataflows, recipes, and datasets for efficient data ingestion and transformation. Integrate data from Salesforce and external systems (via connectors or APIs).
Embed machine learning models and AI predictions into dashboards to enhance decision-making.
Maintain documentation for dashboards, dataflows, and processes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management, statistics, or equivalent experience
3+ years of professional work experience working with data integration/ETL, data science, or data visualization
3+ years of Salesforce Analytics (i.e., Wave/Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM) experience
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting data findings
Hands-on experience with database tools such as SAQL, SOQL, and JSON for dashboard development.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data visualizations (i.e., Tableau), and development
Experience with dataflows, recipes, and dataset architecture.
Hands-on experience with DataLakes (Snowflake, Amazon, Databricks)
Strong data ETL experience using Excel (Vlookup, concatenate, remove duplicates, text-to-columns)
Experience with a scripting programming language
Strong communication skills & presentation skills
Comfortable with learning new things or taking on new responsibilities as we expand into new verticals, integrate with new technologies, or add new features to the product set
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Certified CRM Analytics and Einstein Discovery Consultant.
Experience with Salesforce Lightning and custom objects.
Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, external data connectors, or middleware.
Experience with Einstein Discovery & AI/ML model integration is a plus.
