Hiring for Registered Nurse - ICU in Show Low, AZ

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
  
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
  
• Manage ventilated patients, critical care drips, arterial lines, and other ICU equipment.
  
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
  
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  
• Educate patients and families and provide compassionate support.
  
• May float to ED or Med/Surg based on experience and staffing needs.
  

Patient Population / Clinical Experience

Experience with:

• STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions
  
• Sepsis, ARDS, DKA, CVA, renal failure, AFib RVR
  
• Pneumonia, ventilated patients, post-operative patients
  
• IABP, temporary pacemakers, hypothermia protocols, and critical care drips
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
  
• Current RN license
  
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
  
• Experience with basic ICU equipment and critical care medications
  
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
  

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  
• Modified self-scheduling with block scheduling options
  
• Minimum 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
  
• No regular on-call requirement
  
• No listed holiday requirement
