Bring your passion for excellence to our table.  As an Engineering Tech III, you will be under the moderate direction of Engineering Managers and/or peers. The Engineering Tech III assists with performance testing and data collection tasks related to commercial cooking and holding systems, test fixtures, product verification, and validation activities. This position is technical and hands-on in nature.  Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this position is based in Shreveport, LA*.  This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work and reside in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin or Wyoming. Due to payroll, tax, and employment law requirements, applicants must be located in one of these states at the time of hire.    Duties & Responsibilities Operate equipment such as: scale, multi-meter, data acquisition, hand and power tools, and wiring tools. Perform tests on commercial cooking and cooked food holding equipment under the direction of a mentor. Build and operate test fixtures under moderate direction. Collect data from equipment or systems under test, data acquisition (DAQ), for the purposes of creating test reports or validating system function. Perform advanced functions and troubleshooting methods of common commercial cooking and cooked food holding equipment. Read and follow wiring diagrams. Maintain lab/workshop cleanliness, tools, and equipment. QualificationsEducation & Experience: High School Diploma / Technical Diploma or Certificate / Associate Degree 2-4 years of experience in a related field with an applied associate degree or a 1-2 year diploma in a field program. Minimum 4 years’ experience in the related field without a formal education in the related field.  Skills & Abilities: Work safely and possess the discernment of when to ask for help/training on: equipment, process, or task. Act as a contributing team member in lab or workshop activities. Provide clear and concise verbal & written communication.
