Job Title: Accounting/Box Office Coordinator

Department: Finance

Reports To: Director of Finance,

FLSA Status: Full-Time Salary – Exempt

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for and Accounting/Box Office Coordinator for the Shreveport Convention Center and the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. The Accounting/Box Office Coordinator is responsible to perform the daily activities within the Finance Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

o Administrative support for Director of Finance

o Maintaining Event Files – track deposits, insurance and invoices

o Maintains records and files

o Assist with Receptionist/Front Desk

o On-site lead for day-to-day Box Office operations

o Assist with Ticket Sellers and Ticketmaster reports

o Runing show day operations (running audits and reports)

o Assisting with settlement

o Sell tickets as needed

o Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

o Have the ability to multi-task under extreme deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment

o Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and other encountered in the course of employment.

o Ability to function both independently and as a team member

o Excellent organization skills and ability to document well, reconcile financial information and keep excellent records

o Be able to interact with all levels of staff

o Ability to work flexible hours based on events, including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays as needed.

o Must have professional attitude and appearance

Education and/or Experience

Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years in Accounting or Finance environment. Ticketmaster experience a plus.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
