1-800 WATER DAMAGE of NE TX & NW LA is seeking a reliable, motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Shreveport office (71109). We provide emergency water, fire, and property restoration services, so our environment is fast-paced and customer-focused.

We are looking for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable handling multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.

Schedule

  • Full-time preferred
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Minimal weekend involvement may occasionally be required due to emergency operations
Pay & Benefits

  • $15–$19 per hour, depending on experience
  • Paid training provided
  • Paid holidays after 90 days (company-approved holidays)
  • PTO available after first full year of employment
  • Performance-based bonuses available
  • No healthcare or retirement plan currently offered
Primary Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and assisting customers
  • Supporting dispatch operations
  • Working with TPA coordinators in Texas and Louisiana
  • QuickBooks tasks including invoicing, categorization, payroll assistance, and financial record management
  • Accounts receivable and collections follow-up
  • Document organization and file management
  • Customer communication and job coordination
  • Occasional trips to UPS, FedEx, or USPS as needed
Required Qualifications

  • QuickBooks proficiency is REQUIRED. Applicants without QuickBooks experience will not be considered.
  • Strong customer service and phone communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Organized and dependable
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Experience

  • Payroll experience preferred (training available)
  • Experience with Google Sheets and office software (training available)
  • Experience in restoration, construction, or service industry offices is a plus
