Job Summary:
The Blending B Operator is responsible for supporting blending operations through the safe and efficient unloading, transfer, and loading of bulk materials. This role ensures accurate material handling, proper documentation, and adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. The Blending B Operator plays a critical support role in maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring materials are available for blending and customer fulfillment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safely unload incoming bulk materials from trailers and railcars.
- Load outbound bulk shipments efficiently, with a target completion time aligned with operational standards.
- Assist Blending A Operators with hose connections, tank setups, and general operational support.
- Monitor and maintain tank inventory levels; complete all required transfer documentation accurately.
- Record and report tank temperatures in accordance with procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment such as pumps, hoses, and filters.
- Maintain adequate inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies for bulk transfer operations.
- Accurately document all material movements using required forms (e.g., Blend Checklist, BRMRR).
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, shift handoffs, and required safety training.
- Report all safety incidents, near misses, and hazards immediately.
- Follow all company safety policies, environmental standards, and operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, chemical, or blending operations preferred
- Familiarity with bulk material handling and transfer processes preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and odors
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an industrial setting
