Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Shreveport, LA 71107Job Summary The primary functions of this person are: Support the facility's Environmental, Health & Safety programs. Assist with employee safety training and recordkeeping. Conduct workplace inspections and identify potential hazards. Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions. Maintain OSHA and safety documentation. Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Environmental, Health & Safety Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments. Coordinate employee safety training, orientation, and certification records. Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses and assist with corrective actions. Maintain OSHA records, training documentation, and safety reports. Support and participate in Safety Committee meetings and activities. Monitor compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Assist supervisors with hazard identification and risk reduction efforts. Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory records. Support emergency response, environmental compliance, and regulatory inspections. Promote employee involvement and continuous improvement in safety performance. Qualifications and Experience   High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred. 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, safety, or industrial operations preferred. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety principles preferred. Ability to obtain required safety certifications and training. Desired Skills and Traits   Manufacturing experience preferred. Organizational skills. Computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Problem-solving ability.
