JOB SUMMARY:
The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for coordinating engineering projects, processes, and cross-functional execution across the engineering organization. This role ensures the successful movement of projects from customer intake through engineering release and production readiness. The position serves as a key operational partner across engineering functions, helping drive alignment, visibility, and scalable processes as MXS continues to grow. The Engineering Project Manager partners closely with the Design, Manufacturing, and Applications engineering teams, as well as Operations, to improve engineering workflows, establish scalable processes, and provide visibility into engineering project performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Manage engineering workflows from project intake through production release
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Coordinate cross-functional communication between Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Operations
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Lead聽 development and implementation of engineering stage-gate and handoff processes
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Maintain engineering schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource planning activities
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Facilitate engineering review meetings and track action items to completion
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Develop and maintain reporting tools and performance metrics for engineering projects
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Identify project risks, scheduling conflicts, and process gaps and escalate issues as appropriate
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering operations, project execution, and organizational scalability
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist with engineering documentation control and process standardization
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Partner with leadership to support operational planning and organizational scalability
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience:

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽8+years of engineering or technical project management, or operational leadership experience preferred
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams and complex technical projects
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience implementing process improvements and operational workflows preferred
Preferred Skills:
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Project Management Professional (PMP)
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Strong project management and organizational skills
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience with engineering workflows, handoff processes, and scheduling coordination
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Education:聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Operations Management, or related technical discipline preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights.聽 When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used, as necessary.
Compensation: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
