Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are currently seeking an Epilepsy/Neurophysiology-EEG Specialist to join our outstanding Academic Neurology department and Level 4 NAEC-accredited Epilepsy Center. Must be BC/BE and be eligible for a Louisiana license. Leadership opportunities available to qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.

  • Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, Epilepsy conferences and didactic .

  • Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Epilepsy program.

  • Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.


Resources & Facilities:

  • Level 4 National Association of Epilepsy Centers-accredited Epilepsy Center with 5 adult EMU beds

  • Multi-disciplinary Care

  • Academic Medical department with the largest concentration of Subspecialty Neurologists in the Ark-La-Tex region.

  • School of Medicine Faculty and collaborations with the Graduate School and Allied Health
