<p><span>The Quality supervisor manages a team of quality inspectors by overseeing their daily tasks, providing training, and ensuring consistent execution of quality processes<span>. They are responsible for product and service quality, which includes leading their team to perform inspections, conduct tests, identify and help correct any flaws or inconsistencies to meet company and industry standards.</span></span></p><p> </p><p><span><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong>:</span></p><p> </p><ul><li><span>Plan, prioritize, schedule and assign work to the technicians in the Quality department.</span></li><li><span>Ensure efficient use of resources and work with the Quality Manager and Team Lead on resource planning based on activity levels.</span></li><li><span>Perform inspections, tests and certification reviews, as required. Enter nonconformance reports and follow up with the Quality, Test or Manufacturing Engineers as appropriate.</span></li><li><span>Assign and monitor daily work schedules and support production and new product development goals that rely on quality inspection, testing and related activities.</span></li><li><span>Enable and monitor timely completion of tasks using key performance indicators and simple dashboards. Provide feedback to management about gaps.</span></li><li><span>Identify tooling, equipment and supplies needed to ensure that work progresses in a safe and orderly manner. Perform or schedule and monitor routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.</span></li><li><span>Perform performance appraisals of team members, and provide coaching and training as required.</span></li><li><span>Identify improvement opportunities; implement LEAN principles.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong><u>Minimum Requirements:</u></strong></span></p><p> </p><ul><li><span>High School Diploma or equivalent</span></li><li><span>10yrs experience with supporting quality related experience to include team / group management.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to read and interpret drawings, understand client specifications and apply them daily.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated commitment to driving and communicating positive change. </span></li><li><span>Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. </span></li><li><span>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. </span></li><li><span>Effective collaborator across cross-functional teams. </span></li><li><span>Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions, capable of clear and legible written communication. </span></li><li><span>Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. </span></li><li><span>Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span><strong><u>Preferred Experience:</u></strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred</span></li><li><span>Six Sigma</span></li><li><span>LEAN</span></li><li><span>SAP preferred, any applicable Document Management System experience (GEMS, VAULT, CS-10, other)</span></li></ul>
