PURPOSE:
To maintain warehouse inventory and operation including shelf supply, shelf integrity, delivery and staging of stock & non stock items.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibit safe work habits in an industrial setting: Wear personal protective equipment, follow safety rules, complete all training required in a timely manner, use proper lifting techniques, etc.
- Operate equipment safely: Forklift, pallet jacks, dollies, etc.
- Use strong interpersonal skills to assist customers in obtaining parts while working at the counter or in the warehouse
- Exhibit strong attention to detail while maintaining order and inventory in the warehouse
- Effectively ship items from multiple freight carriers, labeling, packing, etc.
- Effectively receive items from multiple freight carriers
- Properly maintain records: inventory, shipping, receiving, etc.
- Accurately conduct inventory and scheduled cycle counts
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse
- Provide excellent service on the phone and in person
- Learn product locations and parts identities to effectively assist customers

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
- High school diploma or GED,
- 3 years of industry specific warehouse and inventory experience OR combination of education and experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
- Associates degree from an accredited university
- Prior supervisory experience
- Knowledge of JD Edwards
- Basic knowledge of industrial parts: pumps, motors, etc.
