As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating profitable business for Trench Safety by developing your assigned territory, implementing sales plans to grow business and maintain current customer base, and helping to build the national Sunbelt branding identity. Responsibilities include promoting Sunbelt’s safety culture, developing and executing territory sales plans, soliciting business via phone and travel, preparing proposals and bid packages by understanding blueprints and consulting technical resources, providing application solutions, promoting customer safety training, coordinating project specs with internal personnel, monitoring competitor activities, maintaining CRM database, achieving sales targets, learning equipment applications, collaborating with other divisional representatives, managing accounts payable and customer payments, and other duties as assigned. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years direct sales experience, strong project management and customer retention skills, proven sales track record, technical background, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, valid driver’s license and insurance, excellent communication skills, and preferred experience in equipment rental or construction industry. The position offers a base pay range of $40,000 to $72,558 plus commission, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, insurance, flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and more.
