Job Purpose and Impact

Job type: Full time
Shift available: 12hrs Night Shift
Compensation: 

Starting payrate: $27.00/hr

After trained: $28.00/hr

Key Accountabilities

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Clear crane, monorail conveyor, trolley and elevator faults as needed
  • Clear images and monitor Single Point of Contact(SPOC) and help maintain inventory accuracy
  • Monitor all systems and provide feedback on equipment showing persistent issues to drive errors out fo the system
  • Work closely with maintenance and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) Lead to identify issues that need immediate attention
  • Escalate any system issues as they occur in  the cranes, trollies, vertical lifts, P&D’s, labelers, photoeyes, shipping fingers, and conveyors. 
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures)
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Must be able to perform physical job duties with or without reasonable accommodation: bending, kneeling, lifting 50 pounds, climbing, crawling, and twisting
  • Ability to work in elevated areas(upward to 100 feet) and climb ladders
  • Must be able to read/write English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment

 
 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Inventory systems knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
  • Previous experience operating forklift
  • Basic mechanical experience
  • Prior experience in production related work
