Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Assist with process improvement projects to support plant operations.
• Provide guidance and training to employees and apprentices as needed.
• Complete fabrication projects in support of continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow all plant safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic electrical systems
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• PLC logic troubleshooting and programming experience
• Waterjet troubleshooting and programming experience
• Robotics programming experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience in industrial maintenance, machine repair, or electrical maintenance
• Formal education in industrial maintenance, machine repair, or electrical systems is a plus
• Basic fabrication skills including welding, machining, and metalworking
• Ability to operate shop tools and equipment safely
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, machine prints, and schematics
• Willingness to attend and complete required training

• Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
