Night Shift LPN – Behavioral Health

Bring compassion, clinical skill, and steady support to every interaction. As an LPN on our behavioral health units, you provide hands-on care that helps patients feel safe, respected, and supported throughout the night. Your calm presence, keen observation, and clinical judgment make a meaningful difference when patients need reassurance and stability most.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Conduct focused assessments and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the RN or provider.
• Administer medications, including long-acting injectables, while performing routine treatments and safety checks with accuracy and care.
• Support crisis intervention through therapeutic communication, de-escalation techniques, grounding strategies, and effective milieu management.
• Assist with admissions, belongings searches, vital signs, lab coordination, and discharge preparation.
• Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation and reinforce patient and family education.
• Ensure continuity of care overnight through vigilant observation, proactive support, and thorough documentation.
• Manage after-hours admissions and urgent patient needs while preparing comprehensive handoff communication for the day team.

What We’re Looking For

• • Current LPN license; psychiatric experience preferred.
• • BLS certification; CPI/PMAB or equivalent de‑escalation training (or obtained after hire).
• • Team‑first mindset and reliability across 12‑hour shifts.
