Position Overview
The Accounting & Office Administrator supports daily office operations and handles core accounting tasks under the direction of ownership/leadership. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of bookkeeping or office administration experience — ideally with construction exposure — who wants to grow into a larger accounting or operations role as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
**Office Operations**
- Support day-to-day office operations to keep things running smoothly
- Keep the office organized and stocked with necessary tools and resources
- Serve as a point of contact for internal team members and outside vendors/clients
**Accounting**
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with payroll processing and data entry
- Perform general ledger data entry and basic reconciliations
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Help prepare routine financial reports under guidance from leadership or an outside accountant/bookkeeper
- Support tax prep and audits by organizing and pulling documentation as requested
**HR & Administrative Support**
- Post job openings, schedule interviews, and help coordinate onboarding paperwork
- Maintain accurate employee records and files
- Help track employee benefits enrollment and basic compliance documentation
- Provide administrative support to leadership: scheduling, correspondence, filing, and meeting coordination
- Help coordinate company events, meetings, and trainings
Qualifications
 - Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
 - 2+ years of experience in office administration and/or bookkeeping; construction industry exposure a plus, not required
 - Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
 - Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
 - Strong organizational and time-management skills
 - Clear written and verbal communication
 - Comfortable multitasking and working both independently and as part of a small team
