Work in hatchery setting performing assigned job duties to verify and confirm correct operation of overall hatchery programs for sanitation and processing areas. Follow all established safety and operational SOP's to achieve goals on hatch , HOF, early mortality and budgets.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

  • Directs daily activities of hourly processing and sanitation employees in a manner that insures efficient hatchery operation.
  • Monitors operation of chick processing equipment to insure proper operation
  • Insures all sanitation procedures and practices are followed
  • Insures compliance with all established SOP's including, but not limited to animal welfare and safety
  • Provide training to all hourly employees with respect to daily tasks associated with hatchery operation

Educations/Experience Requirements

  • High School
  • 1- 3 years in hatchery setting
  • Completion of all safety training, LOTO and pallet jack certification
