Primary Purpose

Lead the Talent Acquisition team in implementing and measuring recruiting strategies that support regional workforce objectives. Provide leadership, coaching, and operational direction to Talent Acquisition Specialists while partnering with Talent Acquisition leadership, HR, business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to address hiring challenges and deliver effective talent acquisition solutions. Oversee the full talent acquisition lifecycle by ensuring standardized, efficient, and compliant recruiting processes that enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience. Leverage data, performance metrics, and technology to identify opportunities, improve recruiting effectiveness, optimize service delivery, and support the achievement of short- and long-term talent acquisition goals.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate Talent Acquisition Specialists. Establish priorities, monitor workload distribution, provide guidance on complex recruiting matters, and ensure consistent execution of talent acquisition processes, service standards, and compliance requirements.
  2. Oversee the recruiting lifecycle for assigned business areas, including requisition planning, sourcing strategies, candidate selection, offer development, and onboarding support. Partner with business leaders and HR to anticipate workforce needs and develop hiring strategies that support operational goals.
  3. Serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner to hiring managers and operational leaders. Provide market insights, recruiting recommendations, and workforce trends while addressing hiring challenges and ensuring alignment between talent acquisition activities and business priorities.
  4. Analyze recruiting metrics, hiring trends, and performance indicators to identify opportunities, recommend improvements, and support decision-making. Lead and participate in projects focused on process optimization, technology utilization, candidate experience, and service delivery enhancements.
  5. Support and oversee sourcing activities, recruitment marketing efforts, career events, vendor relationships, and other talent acquisition initiatives designed to strengthen candidate pipelines and improve recruiting effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, workforce planning, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience leading recruiting initiatives and supporting hiring needs across multiple business functions preferred.
  • Prior experience providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, or supervisory support to recruiting or HR team members preferred.
  • Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, interviewing techniques, employment practices, workforce planning, and talent acquisition metrics.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret recruiting metrics and develop recommendations to improve talent acquisition effectiveness.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, and other recruiting channels.
  • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), Association of Internet Recruiters (AIRS), or other recruiting-related certifications preferred.
  • Serves as a trusted talent acquisition partner to business leaders by providing guidance on recruiting strategies, workforce planning needs, and market trends that support organizational objectives.
  • Leads and participates in talent acquisition initiatives focused on process improvement, technology optimization, employer branding, workforce planning, and service delivery enhancements.
